Department of Sociology

Based on the admission policy of the College of Humanities and Sciences, the Department of Sociology admits students who are eager to profoundly study the theories and methodologies of sociology and solve the various issues and challenges faced by the modern society by advancing their skills of accurate observation and analysis of the real world. The students are expected to advance their knowledge of history (particularly contemporary history and current events), mathematics (areas related to statistics), and Japanese (argumentation).
